Research Thesis:
How can rammed earth building techniques be applied in the thompson-cariboo region with ameuter builders with little or no experience?
Saw something interesting on discovery the other day using the rammed earth made easy for new users with little experience. The host is a bit odd but the video itself is very interesting to watch.... Check it out!
If you go to the section titled "Ramming the Earth", it describes how hand tampers can be made and it also says they are easy to use. It can be assumed that amateur builders shouldn't have troubles figuring out how to use this technology, even though it would be a slower process than having, for example, pneumatic tamping equipment. The article is quite informative in general, and I hope it will be useful to you!
